Since 1969 Giorgos Lemonis the eldest, has been sharing his passion for fishing with the fanatic visitors of the beach, offering all of the seas treasures. Back then the menu was simple but delicious! Fried calamari and salad from the garden, all made with love by his wife Mrs. Marika. Today 50+ years later, their children and grandchildren with respect to tradition and the natural landscape, they continue what he started.
Limnonari
Seeking your own heaven on earth, you arrive in Limnonari.
Legend has it that Limnonari was named after Ares, the Greek God of War (“Limni tou Ari” – “Lake of Ares”), who was mesmerised by the incredible beauty of the landscape. Another version attributes the name of the beach to the unique natural qualities of the small and calm bay with its almost always tranquil and peaceful waters that resemble a lake and are ideal for boats.
